These terms govern your use of Marketing Buddy at mymarketingbuddy.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you represent that you can bind that business.
1. The Service
Marketing Buddy is a marketing operations workspace: it connects to third-party services you authorize, keeps your marketing memory and tasks in one place, and exposes a Model Context Protocol endpoint so AI agents you run can work in your workspace. The Service does not itself provide AI models; you bring your own agent (for example Claude Code or Codex) and remain responsible for it.
2. Your account and tokens
Keep your credentials and MCP tokens confidential. Anything done in your workspace with your session or a token you minted is attributed to you. Rotate or revoke tokens in Settings if you suspect misuse and tell us at hello@mymarketingbuddy.com.
3. Connected services
When you connect Google, Meta, X, Klaviyo, Resend, Stripe, WooCommerce or any other service, you authorize the Service to access and act on that account within the permissions you grant, and you agree to that service’s own terms. You are responsible for having the rights to the accounts, lists and content you connect, and for complying with advertising, email (for example CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL), platform and consumer-protection laws in your markets.
4. Actions and approvals
The Service is designed so that sends, posts, advertising changes, deletions and account changes require your explicit approval, and new ad campaigns are created paused. Those safeguards do not replace your judgment: you are responsible for every message sent, post published, and dollar spent from your connected accounts, including actions taken by agents using your tokens.
5. Acceptable use
- No unsolicited bulk messaging, deceptive claims, impersonation, or content that infringes others’ rights or breaks the law.
- No attempts to access other users’ workspaces, probe or overload the Service, or circumvent its safeguards.
- No use of the Service to collect or process data you are not entitled to.
6. Your content
You own the content and data in your workspace. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display it solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.
7. Fees
The workspace is $1 for a 14-day trial, then $49 per month until you cancel. Cancel during the trial and the monthly charge does not run. In-app AI is prepaid credits, separate from the subscription: you choose an amount ($25, $50, $100, $500, or a custom amount) and you can turn on auto top-up. Fees are shown before you pay, processed by Stripe, and non-refundable except where required by law. Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms. We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as is” and may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party outages or events outside our control.
9. Disclaimers
The Service and any analysis, recommendations or drafts produced within it are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Marketing outcomes depend on many factors we do not control; nothing in the Service is a promise of results, and nothing in it is legal, tax or financial advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your connected accounts, your agents’ actions in your workspace, or your breach of these terms or applicable law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
13. General
These terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable the rest remains in effect. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions: hello@mymarketingbuddy.com.
